The McLaren P1 is a concept car, and the company is still uncommitted to a specific release year. But since it was shown off at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, Brauer guesses we may see this car in 2015. And it will be worth the wait. “Everyone knows the P1 will be the next great supercar from McLaren,” he said.

“As a spiritual successor to the brand's ultimate F1 supercar of the 1990s, the P1 will need to weigh less than 3,000 pounds and generate at least 700 horsepower,” he said. “Expect a top speed in excess of 225 miles per hour, and a production run of 500 units.”
